TOPIC: TELL THIS TO YOUR CHILDREN. 

                                          1 Kings 2 vs. 7

 Show kindness to the sons of Barzillia the Gileadite and let them be of those that eat at your table; for  they came to me when I fled because of Absalom thy brother.

 These were the words of David the man of God to his son Solomon. He recounted his experience and told the son what to do thus, he asked Solomon never to forget to show mercy to the house of Barzillia, the Gileadite. Why? 

Because their father helped him in time of trouble.

When the trouble was  over, David remembered that such man and family ought to be blessed. 

Do you know that God does the same?

 He remembers your works and He repays your children even to many generations to come. He doesn't forget.

Are you feeding the poor now? GOD will not forget. 

 Are you the one that built that Church with your sweat and money while others were building their own lives and family?

 Know that God  will not forget. 

Know this and never forget,God is not unrighteous to forget your good works. NEVER!

If you do good, He will not forget, the same goes when you do bad, He will also not forget. 

Help people when they are in trouble and do not disdain them and when you are helped, remember and tell your children about it. 

Set a season and time to say THANK YOU. 

This is the life of a victor. 

Amen. 

Confession:

God will not forget my good works because He is not unrighteous. 

Therefore I live to remember to bless anyone who has ever loved and stood by me.

TOPIC: WHEN YOU GET THERE, DON'T FORGET TO TELL YOUR CHILDREN WHO GAVE YOU A LIFT. 

TEXT: GEN. 18:17-18

And the Lord said, shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do,

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth  shall be blessed in him?

For I know him, that he will tell his children and his household after him and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgement, that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Many hide vital information from their children and it becomes a weapon in the hands of the enemies for them to fail.

When you rise, let people know whom God used. 

When you tell your children how you started in life, they will know how to maintain your success.

Tell them who and how God has helped you in your struggles in life.

When you keep the past away from them, they will never understand or recognize the future ahead of them. 

When you don't tell them the mistakes you have made, they will repeat the same mistakes and it becomes a pattern in your family which will eventually become their battle.

Let your family know whom God used to bring you out of that pit. 

It is good to tell your children where not to step their feet because you once stepped your foot and you were almost destroyed.

Parents are parents because they have seen what their children are going to see in life, so they are life coach to advise and mentor them never to make some errors.

Good parents help their children to make a good choice they couldn't make for themselves.

The success of a parent is seeing the  children do better in the areas they  failed.

This is because, parents succeed in and through their children.

When your child is great, you are great. 

A parent can go  to school through his/her children's education.

A parent can live abroad through the children, yet he/ she is in the village.

Parents can enjoy through their children's enjoyments, that is the joy of parenthood.

It will be a great deservice and maltreatment to hide how you came this far from your children.

Let them know who brought the milk on your table. 

Let them know that you once had no shoes. 

They need to know who stood by you in your pain. 

They need to hear of who helped you. 

Let them also know your fears and those who may likely wish them evil. Why? 

This is because your enemy now can never become their friend.

In other words, 

No one can ever hate a parent and love  the children. Never!

Tell them the good and the bad, the ugly and the beautiful.

Let them know that there is a Broadway and a narrow way.

Time to laugh and time to endure. 

Help them to make right decisions, to become the better and the best that you never became. 

Let them know that everything is possible once they believe. 

Give them faith and let the word and light keep them.

Abraham walked in this path and God wants us to do same. 

Let them know their root and tell them never to be limited by the ugly experience. 

Let them know why and how you got here. 

Tell them about your journey. 

Instruct them to remember those that God used to help you get to where you are and never forget to thank them. 

This is the way of success and everlasting greatness. 

CONFESSIONS:

I will never hide anything good from my future. 

I am equipping my children with light and truth and in it, they will prevail in all things. 

I know better and I will act better.

NO MATTER THE NUMBER OF SICKNESS IN THE WORLD, YOU WILL NOT DIE OF ANY.

TOPIC: NO MATTER THE NUMBER OF SICKNESS IN THE WORLD, YOU WILL NOT DIE OF ANY. 

I will not die but live...Psalm 118 vs 17.

As daily as you live, always declare this to yourself no matter what happens or how you feel, you will never die of any disease. 

Do you know that it is satan's plans for you to leave this earth early and that is why he is attacking you with sicknesses just to destroy your body. Say not me.

For this purpose, the scripture asks, don't you know that your bodies are the temples of the Holy spirit who lives in you. Whom you have received from God?

Are you sick in your body, reject it now by telling your body that it is not for any disease or sickness because your body is God's own temple. 

Sickness is satan's arrow  of pain and death. It comes to weaken and cripple lives.

Through sicknesses and diseases, many lives have been sent to their graves.

Satan uses sickness to destroy lives and  hope. This, you must never allow  in your life.

In 3 John 1 vs 2, the word declares, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health. This is God's Divine wish above all things, for His children.

God wants you to  PROSPER and TO BE IN HEALTH. Why?

When you are healthy, you will be able to serve God.

When you are healthy you will be wealthy. 

When you are healthy, you fulfill your destiny in joy and never in pain.

Satan uses two major weapons to introduce himself in an environment  which are

 SICKNESS AND POVERTY. 

These are his greatest weapons against man. Why?

He knows that if you are sick, you lose your health and when you lose your health, you lose your wealth..

Say it is not my portion

Say with me, sickness is not for me and will never be forever. 

Sickness brings pain and eventually death and this is the plan of the devil against God's people.

Seeing this evil from the pit of hell, Jesus in John 8 vs 44, addressed satan as a killer and murderer from the beginning. How?

He does it through hunger and sickness.

Always declare your prosperity, health and healing. Refuse to be poor and sick.

With your words, send every sickness back to the enemy and tell yourself that no matter how many sickness that is in the world, none is for me because I will live and  not die. 

Command your body to be free from every infirmity no matter how you feel.

Speak health and prosperity always and your life will never fall into any pit of satan, the evil one. 

Though many sickness in the world I will not die by any. 

CONFESSIONS:

My body is not for any sickness. Therefore, I

 refuse to be sick or poor .

 I live by the word of God according to 3 John 1 vs 2..

I live and  not die

TOPIC : MAY I NEVER BE WHERE GOD IS AND YET, BE LOOKING FOR HIM

TEXT :  Luke 22 vs 70.

And they asked him, are you the son of God?

Many live in the place of glory and yet, lack glory.

 Some have the anointing and yet they are looking for miracle.

Imagine the life of someone who lives at the bank of a river and yet lacks water to drink. 

Such was the life of the people in days of Jesus Christ.

They lived with the son of God, yet they were looking for him.

And in our text, they sent men to inquire of him whether He is the son of God and thus they asked, 'are you the son of God'?

Jesus answered them, you said so! and yet they never believed him but took up stones to put him to death.

Many today live the frustrated life; the life of pain, bitterness, depression and anger and they think that God have forgotten them.

I want to tell you today that God is there with you.

Hear me; God is in that office or marriage. 

God is closer to you than you can ever imagine.

In that Church where you are now, God is there. 

All you have to do is to open your eyes to see him and believe his word.

In his days, the disciples were in the boat with him yet they were afraid. 

In other words, they were with God yet, they didn't believe him.

The Samaritan women stood with Jesus, yet was questioning his identity.

Just as many in the Bible made mistake of always looking for God and couldn't find him though he was in their midst, many of us live that same way today. 

One prayer you will pray for yourself is this, may you not be where God is and yet be looking for him.

May I not be where grace is speaking and yet my name will not be heard.

May I not be where men are lifted and yet I'm down.

May my name not be forgotten in the book of grace. 

In Luk 18 vs 38 to 41 When Blind Bartimaeus heard about Jesus, he cried out for help saying, Jesus son of David, have mercy on me and he received mercy.

Was he the only blind person on that street? No, but he believed, sought after him and found him.

Others also heard about Jesus passing, kept quiet and remained blind for the rest of their lives.

I pray for you, may you not hear God pass bye and keep quiet.

May you not be in a pit and be silent when help is very close.

You will not die hungry when there is plenty to eat.

You will not die poor when your father owns the Heaven and the Earth.

You will not be naked when there is enough clothes in the wardrobe for you to put on.

You will not sit on the floor when you have a throne to sit on.

May you not wear a cap when there is a crown for you.

May you not go around with walking stick when you have a staff of office to your name.

May you not live in wilderness when there is a mansion for you in destiny.

May you not hide at the back stage when you ought to be the one performing on television.

May your voice not be muted when you ought to be heard globally.

May you not hide when you ought to be seen and celebrated.

Those who miss such opportunity tend to live in regret for the rest of their lives.

I pray for you; may you not be where God is and yet you are looking for God.

CONFESSIONS:

Father thank you for your word that has opened my eyes.

I pray not to be where God is, yet I'm looking for him.

Amen.

DON'T GO AGAINST THE SCRIPTURE BY FEEDING SOMEONE WHO IS LAZY AND HAS REFUSED TO WORK.

TOPIC: DON'T GO AGAINST THE SCRIPTURE BY FEEDING SOMEONE WHO IS LAZY AND HAS REFUSED TO WORK.

He who does not work should not eat. 2 Thessolonians 3 vs 10.

QUOTES :

LAZINESS IS SELF MADE, DON'T ENCOURAGE IT. 

QUOTES : LAZINESS IS NOT A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM, DON'T TOLERATE IT.

HOW DOES ONE BECOME LAZY YOU MAY ASK? 

 PROVERBS 6:10-11.

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hands to rest. So will poverty come like a thief.

Men become lazy by giving too many excuses and Feeling that there is somebody somewhere to help him/her. 

Those who have entitlement mentality also become lazy. 

Have you ever seen someone who sleeps early and wakes up very late and then complains that there is no job anywhere? 

That is laziness speaking. 

Have you met someone who is asking for help and you introduce him to an opportunity or a job and their first question is 'how much are they going to pay me? 

then goes ahead to decline the offer because to him or her the pay is little? 

Yet he is going around begging and telling you to help him so that God will bless you. 

How does God bless men? By their handiwork. 

Have you come across anyone who disdains a particular job that people do? and yet he/she is begging to feed and still insist that he or she cannot do anyhow job. 

I know you have come across someone who dresses better and eats more than you do yet he wants you to fund it.

Have you met an individual who wears expensive things yet he or she is not working and he  neglects the little jobs that comes to his or her way, saying that he is too big for small jobs but yet he wants you who is doing the same little job to give him money.

 If you do so, you are encouraging laziness. 

I know you have come across someone in your life  who waits till you collect your salary or paycheck. Then he or she comes to tell you please give me little I have somebody to pay. Yet, the person refused to do the type of job you are doing. 

If you help such person, you are endorsing idleness. 

Such and more is a life of lazy people. 

LAZINESS IS SELF MADE AND NOT A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM.

Our topic taught us that laziness is self made, don't endorse it. In other words, laziness is a self prescribed medication. 

Our text tells us that people get into  abject poverty by resting more than they work. 

Hear me, hardwork does not kill anyone. 

In our world today, people go around begging and in turn prays for you that their God will bless you. Which God? Their God of LAZINESS or your own God that makes you work hard. 

Know this, someone who is not blessed can't bless anyone. 

One who is not lifted by his God can't pray to the same God who can't lift him to lift you. 

In other words, 

Most of the prayer we receive from lazy beggars because we helped them don't work. 

A little talk, a folding of hands to watch others work, makes a man poor. 

Do you have somebody who wants you to pay his or her bills and yet refusing to do the type of job that you are doing? Don't encourage it.

Is there any brother or sister who waits for you to send him or her monthly allowance? Yet the little work he ought to do, he is rejecting it. Saying that it is not the type of work he wants. Don't endorse it.

Do you have anybody who only collects from you and he is relaxed by doing it, stop encouraging it.

Pastor, she is my sister, he is my brother. He is not working.

Let him or her go and look for work to do.

What if there is no work someone may ask?

Let him or her create one and develop it.

Every job or work in existence was created by someone. 

A man that needs help should  start something on his or her own before assistant should come. 

In other words don't ask for assistance or help when you are totally doing nothing. 

Selling something on the street even sachet water is a sign you want to sell something in your own store. 

Know this, Starving yourself to save, is a sign that you will maximize the little money that will be given to you by a destiny helper. 

Are you aware that eating too much is a sign that you have no plan to save for tomorrow. 

Dressing and feeding more than the person that is paying your bill is a sign that you are lazy and you want to be cared for all the days of your life. 

2 Thessalonians 3 vs 10 tells us that he who does not  work should not eat.

Let me ask you reading this VOG now, why are you going against the scripture by feeding someone who has refused to work? 

Why are  you working and someone is happy eating and all you hear is 

THANK YOU FOR YESTERDAY. MY GOD WILL BLESS YOU FOR ME OH. 

YOU WILL NEVER LACK AND MORE. 

Stop endorsing and encouraging a lazy person around you.

 Everyone should work. 

The one who has refused to start with the work  available should create the work he or she wants.

In life, anytime someone comes to you to ask for you to give him or her a certain amount of money to solve a problem,  first find out how much  the  person has saved Because he ought to save at least 90% to solve his own PROBLEM. 

In other words don't expect anybody to solve your 100% problem, you must save something to begin with. 

Do not ask for help that will cause somebody a headache. 

CONFESSIONS :

My eyes are open to know the truth. 

From today, I will never endorse or encourage laziness. 

Anyone around me that deserves assistance should prove it. Even myself.

AS YOU TAKE CARE OF OTHERS, DON'T FORGET YOURSELF.

TOPIC: AS YOU TAKE CARE OF OTHERS, DON'T FORGET YOURSELF. 

TEXT : SONGS OF SOLOMON 1 VS 6.

Don't look down on me because I am black, because the sun was much on me. 

MY MOTHER'S CHILDREN MADE ME TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR VINEYARDS BUT MINE, I DID NOT TAKE CARE OF.

In life, if you are not careful, you will labor for others and forget to labor for yourself.

If you are not wise enough, someone else takes over what belongs to you in destiny just as Jacob took over the birthright of Esau.

If you are not diligent enough, those you showed the way, takes you out of the way.

In this manner many are down today because they took care of everyone else and none took care of them. 

Such and more are the battles in most families and organizations. 

In life, there are battles both seen and unseen. 

 Sometimes, you meet and see brothers and sisters of destruction, palm wine tappers of destiny who are ready to suck you dry. 

They only care about themselves, children and family. 

It's all about them, their needs and what they want and how you have not tried enough for them. 

Hear me, stop killing yourself  for someone who can't kill himself to do the same thing for himself. 

Listen to  this and never get it wrong, 

In life, no one truly cares for you. In other words, if you die for others, with time they will forget you. 

Solomon in our text lamented when his children began to ask him questions thus he answered them saying,

My mother's children made me work for them and I never had time to work for myself. 

Is this your experience now? 

Caring for everyone and forgetting yourself? 

Know this, in life if you don't work for your vineyard, others will make you work for them and later claim your own vineyard.

In our text, a king and a wise preacher of his day expressed his pain because of what others around him made him go through. He called them his mother's children. 

He exclaimed,

They made me keeper of their farm but mine I didn't take care of. 

Who made him? His family, friends, his father's house and loved ones. 

Many are just in the same shoe. They have given all to their family, in turn they are the most hated, misunderstood and betrayed in the same family yet through them, the family stood.

 No one remembers.

Listen, learn to first take care of yourself.

As you are training others, train your children first. 

As you feed others, eat first. 

In Genesis 50 vs 20, Joseph complaining about his  experience   when he reunited with his family ,he said,

You sold me for evil but God turned it for good.

Jephtha though later great, was first sent out from his father's house by his own brothers. Judges 11 vs 1.

Joseph was sold by his brothers. The same people he loved and gave food to eat. Genesis 37 vs 12 to 36.

Solomon said they subjected him to serve. Song of Solomon 1 vs 6.

As you take care of others, please take care of your yourself too. 

Help people but help yourself first. 

Don't ever  carry a load for anyone that will bend you over. 

CONFESSIONS:

As I take care of others, I take care of myself too. 

I will not forget to solve my own problem  because of someone else's problem.

My days of ignorance and foolisness is over and my days of wisdom and glory is here.

NOT GUILTY AS CHARGED

THE VOICE OF GOD (V.O.G)

TOPIC: NOT GUILTY AS CHARGED. 

TEXT :Revelation 12 vs. 10

For the accuser of our brethren who accuses them day and night has been brought down.

In the court of heaven, Satan accuses you before God of your past and present in other to destroy your future. 

He looks for every available evidence to prove you guilty but glory to God that no matter how far you have gone, how bad it the past is, you can never be found guilty. Why? 

Jesus has paid it all. Colossians 3 vs 14 to 17.

Who is the devil? 

In John 8 vs. 44, Jesus described the devil as a murderer from the beginning and there is no truth in him. 

In our text, Satan is described as an accuser who accuses you day and night hoping you will be found guilty as charge. 

The question is, where does Satan stand to accuse you and what is he accusing you of?

He even most times, uses his human hosts. 

God is the judge and Satan the accuser according to our text, he accuses you day and night before God but relax because you are not guilty as they thought. 

The question is, if Satan accuses you  day and night, why are you still the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus? 2 Corinthians 5 vs 21.

This is because Satan who accuses you day and night has no evidence to convict you of sin for because he is the chief of all sinners. 

In other words, one who  is guilty of all the sins he has ever accused you of has no right to stand as a witness against you. 

Is there anyone or situation that thinks you are not qualified to be all that you want to be? 

Hear me, that person has no right to disqualify you. 

For this reason, God doesn't take Satan's accusation or anyone to be true. 

In John 8 vs. 44, Jesus described Satan an accuser and  a liar. 

Therefore, when he accuses you, God sees the accuser as the convicted. For  he stands no ground to judge you. 

In this, your liberty is sure and victory forever.

 It's a testimony and a good news to tell the world that my accuser has no evidence against me in the court of heaven because I'm not guilty as charged. 

CONFESSIONS:

I am no longer a slave to sin but a free born of heaven. 

My accuser who is a convict has no evidence against me before God , therefore, I am free forever.

TOPIC : MONEY IS COMING TO YOU : I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT WAIT FOR IT.

TEXT : Deuteronomy 8 vs 18

- But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.  

1John 1 vs 2..beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health even as thy soul prosperity

Gen 13 vs 2..and Abraham was rich and was very rich in cattle, in gold and in silver.

Gal 3 vs 29..if ye belong to Christ then ye are Abraham's seed according to the promise.

Psalm 92 vs 12..the righteous shall flourish like palm trees, they shall be strong as cedars in Lebanon.

Know this, God wants you to prosper. 

He wants you to be wealthy. He doesn't want you to live from hand to mouth.

He doesn't want you to manage life.

He wants us to live in abundance.

Our text declares that we should live daily to remember the Lord our God who gives us power to make wealth.

There is a power that brings wealth beyond the physical labor.

When you talk about wealth, you talk about economic power, finance to control things.

In Zach 1 vs 17.. God declares, my cities through prosperity shall be spread abroad.

According to the Gen 13 vs 2 the scripture described the wealth of Abraham and l affirms that if you belong to God, then you are the seed of Abraham according to the promise of prosperity.

There are many who are still suffering in our kingdom because they think that prosperity is a sin.

Some say, if you are too rich, you will not make heaven. They go ahead to back their claim with the story of the rich man and Lazarus.

If care is not taken, a poor man on earth will remain poor even in heaven and a rich man here in this kingdom on earth will also be highly placed in heaven.

How true is this? Lazarus was poor on earth and in heaven, he also had no place but only had to live in the bossom of Abraham.

In our text, Abraham was rich on earth and in heaven, he had his own city called Abraham's bossom.

What does this imply?

God wants us to live in prosperity.

Thus he declared in 1John 1 vs 3..that he wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health.

Mark the word ABOVE ALL THINGS.

That is the wish of God for you.

How then can this wish be brought to reality?

See prosperity come. 

See money come to you.

Open the eyes of your spirit and see wealth surround your life.

Until you see it, you will never work it out.

Tell yourself ;

I see wealth.

I see prosperity

I don't know how but it must come and as it comes, I live in health to use it to promote the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Hear me as a Prophet of God, as you read and hear this message;

I see wealth, health, prosperity come to you.

Don't ask me how, just anticipate and wait for it. You will testify afterwards.

CONFESSIONS: 

Lines are falling in pleasant places for me because i have a goodly heritage.

I refuse to be poor. I prosper in all things.

I call forth my blessings from far and they are coming to me.

Amen!

TEXT: Exodus 14 vs 15

And the Lord said to Moses, why are you crying to me, tell the children of Isreal to move forward.

In every situation of life.

No matter how tall the mountain is, how rough the road is and how deep the valley looks, God does not lead backwards.

He is not a leader that is afraid of the trouble no matter how intense it is, rather, He handles it.

In our text, Moses cried unto the Lord as most of do today.

God asked him, why are you crying unto me?

Do you know that many times the Lord has asked you this same question?

Why are you crying unto me because He wants you to move forward instead of standing still to cry at a spot.

Are you at a spot looking backwards, counting your loses? 

God wants you to move forward. 

Are you standing before your red sea? God wants you to move forward to that red sea because He wants you to cross it to the other side. 

Where you are now may not be the place where your victory is.

Are you standing before a great mountain? God wants you to move forward to climb the mountain and get your freedom.

Many thought that God would have led the children of Isreal back to find an alternative route but God didn't do so.

In other words, in the midst of every challenge, in the midst of failure, sickness, fierce battle, God wants you to face it, overcome it and gain your victory.

Is there any beast facing and threatening to destroy you? God wants you to face it, fight and overcome it.

There is no mountain too high to climb,

There is no battle too fierce to win.

There is no valley too deep to fill.

There is no situation you can't handle.

There is no victory you can't get.

There is no blessing you can not have.

There is no Goliath you can't bring down.

Therefore, move forward. 

Stop crying and wallowing to God in pain. Find the solution right now.

How?

By moving forward.

Have you tried and failed many times? Try it again until you get it.

CONFESSIONS:

I'm moving forward no matter all I've been through.

There is no mountain too high for me to climb

No valley too deep for me to fill. I move forward and I've crossed every river jordan to obtain my victory.
