TOPIC : I AM A DIVINE INVESTMENT, NEVER TO BE WASTED.

TEXT :

2 Corinthians 5 vs 21.

God made him who knew no sin to become sin so that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Righteousness is God's nature and that nature is a holy investment to him that has it. 

In our text, the bible tells us that we will become the righteousness in Christ Jesus; as God made Jesus to become sin for us  on the cross. 

At times we wonder who we are and why we are here. 

 Know this, that God has made you his  righteousness  through Jesus Christ. Therefore, you are a divine investment,  never to be wasted. 

In Psalm 115 v 16, the bible says that the heavens of the heavens belong to God but the earth has he  given to the sons of men.  What an investment!

In Psalm 8 v 4 - 9, the bible ask  question that who is man that thou are mindful of him? You have made him a little lower than yourself , you have crowned him with honour and glory. 

Know this, you are crowned with honour and glory because you are God's investment on earth.

Many don't know this and they don't realize it, therefore they walk like ordinary men, not fulfilling their purpose on earth. 

Know this, you are not ordinary. You are God's divine project on earth. 

You came here for a purpose and live to fulfill it. 

You are not ordinary , never live ordinary. 

God sent you here as a problem solver. 

God brought you into this world to put laughter to many  lives . 

Let nothing deter you or confuse you because you a divine project sent by God to your family , to reach out to the nations of the earth. This is who you are on earth. 

CONFESSION :  

I am a divine project and never to be wasted.  

No man living or dead will take away my glory from me. 

I live to fulfill my  destiny on earth, Amen.

TOPIC :WHERE YOU ARE NOW DOES NOT DEFINE YOUR FUTURE BUT WHAT YOU SEE DOES. 

TEXT :

Phillipians 3 vs 13.

...One thing I do daily is forgetting those things that are behind and reaching out to those things that are ahead.

In life, if you don't leave the things that are behind, you will never reach forth to the things ahead. 

The things behind you can limit you but the things ahead of you can encourage and move you forward. 

In our text, Apostle Paul declares that he ignores the things behind and reach forth to the things ahead of him. 

What are those thing behind you that tend to limit your vision? 

It is time to move forward and reach out to the things ahead of you. 

There are many who have allowed the things behind them to limit there growth. 

Some focus their lives and vision on the things that brought them here. 

Listen, in life, if you must go far, you must ignore certain things behind you. 

You must look away from that wrong foundation. 

Learn to forgive yourself of the mistakes of the past. 

You must tell yourself, I won't stop where others stopped. 

You must limit your limitations and frustrate your frustrations.

Know this, everyone in life have something that tend to limit his/her growth, but the ability to ignore and overcome it brings you to the fore of your success. 

Make up your mind to leave your past and embrace your future for your past is the mistake of yesterday and your future is a miracle of tomorrow therefore, go for it. 

Thus says the Lord, leave your past behind. 

CONFESSIONS :

I have left my past behind and in moving into my future

I will no longer live in regrets but in the testimony of my tomorrow.

                           VOICE OTHE F GOD (V.O.G)

TOPIC:   A NEW WINE PRESERVED FOR THE FUTURE. 

TEXT ; Mark 2 vs 22

No one puts a new wine in an old bottle, otherwise the bottle will break and the wine will be lost..

In our text, the master sees and calls you  a new wine that must be carefully preserved for the future. 

In the above text, Jesus was telling you that you are different and  for you to be preserved, you must do things DIFFERENTLY from others. 

In other words, 

Don't live and think like your parents, if not, you will not make a difference in your own generation. Why?

You are a new wine, a new generation that is separated and preserved for the future.

Let me ask you,

Do you want to be a difference maker? 

Do you want to be better than those you met in that field?

Are you intending to be teller than your  contemporaries in life?

Then do things differently and never repeat a circle of your yesterday. 

Walk away from every silhouette and face the reality. 

Jesus knowing  this, He warned the parents  who will like to decide what they want their children to become in life. 

He warned in our text never to force the new generation to live in an old lifestyle. If not, you lose them. 

Sir, ma, don't force your children to do things your own old way. 

Don't push them to marry whom you love and not who they love.

Never say, if my son or daughter will not  study  this course, I won't train them. 

These were some of the mistakes our parents made in their own time.

 Jesus says, don't repeat them .Hear him! 

No one puts a new wine (new generation) into  an old skin ( old fashion, way, lifestyle) 

Otherwise, the skin will be burnt and the wine will be lost. 

Do you know that many have lost their future, talents and destiny because of wrong applications of this narrative? Say not me.

They keep doing the same thing and expect different result.

Hear me,if you want a different result from what you have been getting, start doing things differently. That's how to be different from others. Say Amen!

Never lose the sight of this revelation that YOU ARE SEPARATED & PRESERVED FOR THE FUTURE...A NEW Wine therefore, dont live or do things they way your parents did it. 

Confession:

> I am a difference maker, discovering new ideas for my destiny and walking in the light of them.

> I am a new wine in a new bottle and not in an old one. 

> I am not in conflict with my yesterday because I am separated and preserved for my future. Amen!

TOPIC : LOSE SOME WEIGHT AND BE SPIRITUALLY FIT TO FLY. 

TEXT :  

Hebrews 12 vs 1 to 3.

Since we are surrounded by many clouds of witnesses, let us lose some weight that slows us down especially the sins that we easily commit...

Weight is a load. It is heaviness of the body and of the spirit ; a force that slows someone down. 

 It is a force that occupies a space thereby attracting an unnecessary attention. 

As we have physical weight also we have  spiritual weight. 

In every sense, both can slow down and make one weak and sick. 

Our text declares,  because we are surrounded by huge cloud of witnesses, then, we must take away from our lives every weight. 

As doctors tell their patients to lose weight for fitness, the same, God wants you to lose some spiritual weight for your fitness. 

God doesn't want us to be overburdened  or  over weighted. He wants us to be fit.

God wants you to be physically, spiritually and mentally healthy and fit . How? 

By loosing some weight.

That means, allow some attitude, fault and wrong character and doings to go. 

 Put away those things that easily makes you to fall and then brings guilty. 

Filter your thoughts and feelings and purge your spirit from errors.

Our text tells us to get rid of those sins that we easily commit. 

Let me ask you, What is that sin that you can easily commit?

What is that attitude that is personal to you which is rooted in your weakness. 

The bible calls it a weight, it slows you down. 

For you to move faster in life he wants you to take it away from your life. 

To some, it is lie. To others, sin of the flesh. 

To another, anger. To others it is stealing.

Is it keeping malice or  having  an unforgiving spirit?

To another, it may be jealousy, competition or unhappiness. 

Sometimes, we call them individual weaknesses but to the scripture, it is called a weight. 

These weights can slow us down. 

This force can cripple your destiny. 

Esau had a weight in his life, what was it? 

He never cared for the things of the spirit. 

He preferred to go to club than to go to church. 

It was a weight and it made him to lose his inheritance. 

Judas had a weight. 

What was his own weight? 

For the love of money, he lost his life and his place in destiny. 

Absolam had a weight, he wanted power at all cost.

In it, He lost his life and never had a child for himself. 

Demas had a weight. Paul declared that he love the world thus he left the gospel because of the love he had for the things of the world. 

What is your own weight that you are carrying?  God wants you to lose it today. 

 How? Do spiritual exercises. Fast, pray, mourn and live for God alone. That is some of the ways of losing  that spiritual weights. 

The weight of the world can cripple you. 

It can stop you from entering your inheritance.

The children of Israel as a nation had a heavy weight on them. 

They doubted God in the wilderness and some of them died. 

They were bitten by ancient serpent of darkness and they could not enter the promised land. 

What is that weight you are carrying? 

shade it off today and be fit for God to use you...Amen. 

CONFESSIONS 

I lose every spiritual weight that slows me down. For l am fit for the kingdom and for God alone..amen 🙏 

No more excess load.

TOPIC: DON'T EAT EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN A CAKE BECAUSE EVERYTHING  IN A CAKE IS NOT  CAKE. 

TEXT: 

Mathew 7 vs 21.

Not everyone that says to me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven...

Sometimes we think that everyone that's in church is born again. 

It is just like me  thinking that everyone I meet in your house is your family member.

That would be wrong. 

There are men and women, bishops, prophets and preachers who God does not know. 

They carry bible, call the name of Jesus but they are far from Jesus.

 Do not be deceived everything you see in a cake is not cake.

In every cake, there are pondants and decorations. 

Most times the decorations are more attractive and pleasant to the eyes than the cake itself. 

It will be self poisoning for anyone to eat everything he  sees in a cake.

Jesus in our text declares saying; on the last day not everyone that calls  him Lord , Lord will enter into the kingdom of heaven. 

But those who do the will of the father.  

As people open churches and preach, you have to know that its not everyone of them that is called or known by God. 

Some in ministry today called themselves, they anointed themselves and not God. 

It is just like most countries whom their presidents lobby their way to become the leader not because they were selected by the people. 

It is high time we separated the church from religion. 

It is time to separate  native doctors from preachers on God's altar. 

When Israel left Egypt, there were mixed multitudes that followed them. They were not Israelites.  

Some were strangers and they caused confusion.  They made the Israelites to sin against God.

Paul knowing this declares in Romans 16 vs 17 to the church.

Saying, mark them who cause  divisions among you. For they are not for us.

In 1 John 2 vs19, John declared that 

they came from us but they are not of us. 

Never forget that Satan has opened many churches yet he didn't change the name of Jesus whom we call.

Note this, Satan goes to church yet he is not a member of any.

Know God in the spirit and in this you will not eat anything you see in a cake. 

Cake is good but not everything in it.

CONFESSIONS 

My eyes are open and I live by the word of God. Therefore I will never be deceived. 

I am a child of God because my seed abides in me.....Amen 🙏

TOPIC: I HAVE AN UNQUESTIONABLE  IDENTITY WITH GOD. 

Acts 19 vs 15 -16

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you? In other words, what is your identity with God? 

This is a very critical question we all need to ask ourselves.

Who am I?What is my real identity?

Do I have a  Questionable identity or not? 

The sons of Sceva had no knowledge of their true identity and the authority they were playing with and thus demons questioned their operation and identity. 

They had no encounter or any form of relationship and fellowship with the  Lord Jesus ; so they had no identity. 

And for this, they were defeated, the evil spirit overcame them. 

They ran out naked (without covering) 

This is still the same life and experience of many.They are running around naked in life because they have no identity to present in life.

It is not so with anyone who have come in contact with the Lord Jesus. 

The one who believes in His name and His saving grace. The one who has the mark of the covenant of life and his identity. Say Amen. 

Are you born of God? Do you have a new life? Do you have a mark of the blood of redemption. If you do, show it to the world and Say with me,

 I KNOW WHO I AM . 

I AM A CHILD OF GOD 

I'M BORN OF GOD.

I'M BORN OF THE WATER, SPIRIT AND LIFE. HALLELUJAH AMEN 

Identity is so important and Jesus in His days asked the disciples,

 whom do men say I the son of man am ? 

In other words do you know my identity?Matthew 16 vs 13.

They told him, some say you are John the Baptist and some say you are Elijah and others say you are Jeremiah,  or one of the sons of the prophets.

Hear this, in life  men will always have many things and names to call you but you are the only one that knows your real identity. 

Know this, no man  has your true identity not even your biological parents but you . Why?

Your biological parents know you according to the flesh but not according to the spirit .

And bible echoes ,know no man  according to the flesh but after the spirit. 2 Corinthians 5 vs 16

When Jesus's identity was revealed to Peter, he thundered saying,

you are Christ ,the son of the living God.Matthew 16 vs 16. 

That means, you have no  unquestionable identity with God. 

You need the revelation of your true identity in Christ Jesus and in it, Satan and his little demons cannot question you. 

What is your true identity?

A sinner? 

A loser?

Depressed ?

Sick? 

A thief?

A liar? 

A killer 

or 

One born and sanctified with the blood.

One with the holy one of Isreal?

Who are you?

Show the world your true identity and never give Satan a chance to question it.

Confession:

I am not a sinner but one marked and sanctified by the precious blood of the lamb.

This is my true identity in Christ, an unquestionable identity with God. Hallelujah. 

V.O.G DEVOTIONAL PRAYER POINTS. 

1. Lord! give me the grace to know my true identity. 

2. I pray oh Lord for your divine wisdom,knowledge and understanding. 

3. I pray to have an encounter with you. 

A  relationship and fellowship with the Lord Jesus. 

4. I will never be defeated in the name of Jesus. 

5. I decree and declare that the Lord will make my real identity known to the world.

6. Lord! I need a revelation of my true identity.

7. I decree and declare that no demon of any kind can question me.

8. I decree that I am born and sanctified with the blood of the Lamb.

TOPIC: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE HELPING A POOR MAN/WOMAN. 

TEXT: 

Mathew 25  vs 14 to 30.

Then he who had received one talent came and said, lord I knew you. Knowing that you are a hard man reaping where you have not sown...

Did you read that? 

Have you ever met somebody who thinks that the help you are giving  is not enough? 

Thus they say, after all it was just a little assistant.If I were the one, I would have given more. 

This and more is the mentality of poor people. 

They refuse to acknowledge that though it was little but you did your best. 

Sometimes they feel that you would have gone the extra mile, yet they refuse to appreciate the little mile you have gone. 

In our text, God showed us a typical example of a poor  man who saw nothing good in the help that his master rendered to him.

To him, his master was a hard man. Why? 

Because he gave him just a talent.

 He wanted more, yet he buried that one talent given to him and continued complaining. 

Have you ever helped a complainant who keep telling others that you have not done much? 

He or she is a poor person. Be very careful of him. 

Have you ever raised someone whose family had no plan of giving a future yet you bore all the pain to make her or him somebody and at the end, he/she calls it nothing and tells the world that it was their star that brought them out?

Hear me, AVOID such people, because they are very poor. 

How? 

They don't and will never appreciate any thing good. 

They are pigs and the Bible says don't cast your pearls before them... Mathew 7 vs 6.

Appreciate someone who have done for you what you couldn't do for yourself. Why? 

Because he is not owing you. 

A wise person that was once criticized   said to those that criticized him,  please wait until you reach at the level l am, then you can tell me what and how to do the things you want me to do. 

My maternal grandmother once said,

if anyone refuses to congratulate her for not doing so much that she will use her left hand to congratulate her right hand for doing the best she could. 

How true should this be?

 Very true.

In other words, someone around you may not be the best that you want him or her to be, but acknowledge the little effort he has put to bless your life. 

There are many who expect you to do all for them yet they have not done little for themselves. 

They get angry with you for  failing their expectations. 

Some wants you to carry all their loads, yet they have not lifted a finger to carry a box. 

Many want to receive from you yet they have not given to themselves what they expect from you. 

That itself is a very  wrong attitude and notion.

Have you seen a student who is very angry with the elder brother or sister for failing to pay his or her school fees and provide all  his or her excesses, yet  has never tried to raise a little money to buy his or her textbook. 

Hear me, never give your best to someone who is never willing to give his good to himself. 

That means, 

don't give so much to a man who does not appreciate the little. 

When you think that someone's best is not good enough then put in your best to show the person how to give the best.

When you think that someone has failed in a position, correct him by being in the same position. 

When you think someone has not cared enough. care for that person to show how to care most.

Don't seat in a valley and be telling someone on the mountain how to stand. 

Never be under a tree and be telling someone on top of the tree how to climb. 

In other words learn how to acknowledge people's good even though you want their best. 

Learn how to see and appreciate a little effort even if you want the best.

Learn how to recognize people's strength even when they are weak. 

In the midst of trying to love, care and carry everyone's load be careful of dogs and the pigs because no matter how much you feed another man's dog, he will still bark at you later. 

In other words, 

Be very careful when you are blessing and lifting the poor. One who had no plan or vision for his life. 

CONFESSIONS :

I recognize every good because my best is about to come. 

In the midst of my best, I am careful not to feed a pig. Amen.
